This piece shows a Kappa running away from a festival with his new hoard of cucumbers. In his rush, he risks slipping and spilling the precious water in his head-bowl, thus losing his magical powers.

Functions: Head left/right, leg up/down, body tilt forwards/back

The figure was sculpted in ZBrush and animated in Maya. The silicone pieces were cast using resin printed molds that were designed in Fusion 360.

The hair was punched into the silicone and the water splash was created by splashing UV resin under a UV light.

As per the project instructions, the piece was controlled via a servo tester on the day of demoing.
